Support Clean Water Charities

This is a serious post. I'm not just a heartless douchebag.

Many children die each die from drinking contaminated water. They get diarrhea and dehydrate, lose nutrients and starve. We take water for granted in our country. With the turn of a tap, you have access to municipally treated water.

You can help by donating to these charities:

Charity:water
http://www.charitywater.org/
100% of proceeds are used to fund their projects. (Tax tip: This is a US registered charity, donation slips are issued but can only be used against US income. Don't not donate because of that)

Save the Children
http://www.savethechildren.ca/page.aspx?pid=948&gclid=CPOhpviUwbMCFao7MgodIWcA7Qa
$50 can be used to provide clean access to water

WaterCan
http://www.watercan.com/
Donations are used to provide clean water to communities and educate the people

You can also protect the environment by buying hard plastic bottles.

Nalgene
http://nalgene.com/
They make good bottles and is BPA free. I used it for camping, hiking, at the office, at home, on the go, you name it.
