Poutine - would recommend. Seafood place with good poutine, you'd think
Costa Rican Tilapia with spinach and asparagus
I ate the fries from the fish and chips. Portions were humongous
Review of Restaurant:
  • Why did I come to this restaurant?

My friend had a karaoke birthday at Take One Studios Karaoke which is a 3 min drive away. A co-worker spoke highly of this restaurant, especially with the 50% off appetizers during select time.

  • What did I think of the service?

The waitress did not write down our order because she thought she could remember. She came back to double check if I got the 6 oz or 9 oz tilapia, so much for her memory. She also said that she liked the poutine, I would definitely recommend the poutine here.

  • How did my sensitive stomach feel?

Nothing bad after dining here. Starting to think that my stomach is building a tolerance. Can't wait to get food poisoned again and shut down another restaurant.

  • What about the York Region Inspection Report?

Inspections are performed at the restaurant side and the cocktail side.

Let me bring your attention to the restaurant side, nothing happens at the bar side, alcohol kills bacteria.

On April 28, 2011, they were prone to vermin, dust and fumes.

On Nov 9, 2011, a few infractions such as dirty ceiling, no thermometer for dishwasher, equipment not accessible for cleaning. A re-inspection was performed 5 days afterwards with no infractions.

Aug 13, 2012, they have dirty floors.

This reminds me of a fish market, dirty floors and ceilings.

I think the kitchen looked like this (excuse for the low quality - turn up the volume):

VERDICT: JerJai's Seal of Approval. Rated G like Finding Nemo.
